Date & Time: Wednesday 16 October, 09:00 am

Duration: 2 days

Join MGISS on Stand 51 at the Highways UK show, where we’ll be showcasing how highways contractors can  achieve success by using GIS offsite and onsite – for design, stakeout and as-built.

MGISS Product Manager, demonstrating the use of high-accuracy GNSS technology (Leica GG04+) to record procise position of drainage asset

The team will be on hand to demonstrate MGISS solutions which have been meticulously designed for the UK Highways industry.

Capture:

It’s probably the most seamless 3D Drainage Solution available – DDMS for Highways allows highways drainage contractors to ‘roundtrip’ the point assets of DDMS schemes such as chambers and gullies to centimetre accuracy within the ArcGIS Online platform.

  • Manhole Cards: MGISS’s latest solution enables drainage contractors to carry out detailed drainage node inspections to the STC25 standard.  Capturing accurate information during field visits enables companies to manage sewage networks effectively which helps prevent water pollution. The system can even be fully hosted by MGISS opening the data capture solution up to non-GIS users.

Combine these solutions with high-accuracy GNSS technology from Leica and Eos Positioning Systems, and everyday mobile devices,to provide precise positions for data collected either as points and lines or 3D scans.

Manage:

The MGISS solution leverages Survey123, enabling users to update records in the field for both 3D Drainage and Manhole card solutions.  Data captured, both online and offline, is seamlessly updated in the backend system.

Use:

vSite by vGIS is the perfect tool for the visualisation of high-accuracy 3D models in the field when carrying out drainage surveys and inspections.  Described on a recent MGISS webinar as a reality capture and management tool which can lead to the holy grail in terms of on-site awareness and safety on site which enables users to perform accurate analysis and make well-informed decisions.
