MGISS Events 2026 – Let’s Catch Up!

Spring/Summer 2026 Highlights
It’s been a busy few months for the MGISS team, with a packed run of conferences, exhibitions and industry conversations across utilities, infrastructure, geospatial and damage prevention. Along the way, we’ve been pleased to share space and ideas with a number of our key partners, including Esri, Eos Positioning Systems and Ordnance Survey, helping us bring joined-up conversations around GIS, GNSS, OS data and operational insight to the events we’ve attended.
ESRI UK ANNUAL CONFERENCE | QEII Centre, London
The MGISS team kicked off the events season at the Esri UK Annual Conference, where we spent the day speaking with organisations across local government, utilities and infrastructure about the growing role of GIS in planning, operations and decision-making.
It was also a great opportunity to connect alongside our partners, including Esri and Eos Positioning Systems, and to have joined-up conversations around ArcGIS, high-accuracy field capture and the practical realities of turning data into operational value.

UTILITY WEEK LIVE | NEC Birmingham
At Utility Week Live, it was great to be part of a wider set of conversations across the sector, including collaboration with partners helping organisations think more clearly about resilience, data quality and field-to-office workflows.
This event gave us the chance to showcase how MGISS helps utilities move from fragmented records and one-off analysis to better asset visibility, repeatable insight, and field-to-office workflows that actually support decision-making.
As ever, it was fantastic to catch up with familiar faces and meet new ones across the sector.
GAS UTILISATION CONFERENCE 2026
At the Gas Utilisation Conference 2026, discussions centred on the future of gas infrastructure, operational challenges, and how better data can support safer, more efficient network planning and management.
It was another valuable opportunity to talk about how geospatial data, asset context and digital workflows can help organisations make more informed decisions, especially where infrastructure, risk and regulatory scrutiny all intersect.
GEOBUSINESS | ExCeL London
GEOBusiness was a real highlight, with strong interest in practical applications of geospatial technology and digital transformation across the built environment.
A particular highlight for us was Dr Gareth Boyes’ session on the Built Environment Stage, where he spoke on “CIMple CAD to ArcGIS online conversion”. The session explored how CAD data can be transformed into cleaner, more usable GIS outputs, helping organisations reduce manual effort and get more value from the data they already hold.
It was great to see such strong engagement around CADTransform, interoperability and the practical reality of moving from design data to operational GIS.
NATIONAL DAMAGE PREVENTION DAY | Hilton at St George’s Park
Most recently, we’ve just returned from National Damage Prevention Day, where the focus was firmly on safe digging, collaboration, awareness and reducing risk around buried assets.
These conversations are always important. As pressure grows on infrastructure delivery and maintenance, the need for accurate records, clear asset visibility and better field intelligence becomes even more critical.
For MGISS, it was a valuable event to be part of, and another reminder that geospatial data plays a vital role not just in efficiency, but in safety too.

CONNECTED BRITAIN | ExCeL London | 9–10 September 2026
We’ll be heading to Connected Britain this September, where you’ll find us with Ordnance Survey at Stand A45. It’s another great opportunity to talk about how authoritative national data, geospatial systems and practical operational insight can work together.
HIGHWAYS UK | NEC Birmingham | 14–15 October 2026
We’ll also be back at Highways UK this October at Stand C87, where we’ll be continuing discussions around highways data, field capture, drainage, safe-digging and operational visibility.
If highways maintenance, compliance, asset records or geospatial workflows are on your agenda, this is always a great event to catch up in person.
We’ve loved being part of so many good conversations over the last few months, and we’re looking forward to continuing them at the events still to come.
