MGISS make the Tech Climbers list… again!

What an honour it is to be listed as an LCR Tech Climber for the fourth time!  

Tech Climbers rounds up and showcases top-notch tech talent (a little alliteration for you there…) all over the Northwest. We have specifically been acknowledged in the Liverpool City Region Main List, placing us at the center of the bustling community of tech innovation in our home city.  

It has been inspiring to see Tech Climbers grow since its fruition in 2019. The potential of the tech sector in Liverpool has been apparent for a while, but Tech Climbers have created a community for tech businesses to truly support each other and innovate. This, along with there being a 657% increase in VC investment in Liverpool since 2019 (Dealroom), is only more proof that Liverpool is the best city for innovation, tech growth and collaboration.

The Reveal:

Registrars of the event, held at PINS Social Club, were welcomed with complimentary food and drinks, sponsored by ReCulture, and the proceedings were underway! Chris Maguire of Tech Blast and Business Cloud hosted the night, bringing his unrivaled whit, with sponsors such as Active Profile, and Gather. The turn-out was brilliant, the room was packed full of energy and anticipation – the perfect opportunity to form new connections and nurture our existing relationships.

First up were the ‘Ones to Watch’: up-and-coming business with bags of potential, on track for future success. Notably, our Mental Health confidant, The Mind Map, was recognised here, which was great to see.

Then, the Main List: the rising stars in the city region that make Liverpool an exciting tech destination in the UK, and oh did the suspense thicken. MGISS was acknowledged amongst eighteen other trailblazing tech scale-ups and the celebrations kicked off!

MGISS Founder and Managing Director, Mike Darracott, was invited onto stage, to give his take on what great looks like and how tech businesses in Liverpool are primed for growth.

Mike expressed, “It’s always great to be recognised on the Tech Climbers list and I feel both privileged and proud – privileged that we are in such a talented tech ecosystem in the Liverpool City Region, and proud that we can represent the city as a homegrown team.  Massive thanks to Active Profile, Chris Maguire and all the sponsors for keeping this important event growing in the regions, and to our amazing team at MGISS without whom we would be lost.”

After nearly 10 years of MGISS, to be regarded as maintaining demonstratable business economic growth, social growth, and innovation, alongside such thriving peers, is inspiriting. Plus – we’ve got so much more to share.
